SECESTA ViaSafe resumes the activities of the previous SECESTA project, but this time with a view to using the information gathered by the multi-sensorial system for observing and measuring volcanic ash to improve the road system on the roads of the Metropolitan City of Catania in real time.
The information provided by the interactive map within the web app is qualitative and quantitative. An electronic signage system is planned for the dynamic reduction of the speed of vehicles in circulation at that moment.
