The Domus Sapiens project envisages the realisation of an advanced home automation system for monitoring patients suffering from respiratory diseases (such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, in acronym COPD).
In practice, through a network of sensors placed inside the building and worn by people, the system collects and processes data to alert users in the event of abnormal behaviour. The values are then automatically shared with the doctor thanks to a web app, becoming a valuable therapy support.
